This Privacy Policy explains how All Document Reader (“the app”) handles your information. The app is developed by AB Apps (“we”, “us”).
Short version: the app does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. It has no account system, no servers, and no internet access. Everything the app does happens on your device.
None.
All Document Reader does not collect, store on a server, transmit, sell, or share any personal information or user data. Specifically, we do not collect:
The app does not contain advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting software of any kind.
The app does not request the INTERNET permission. It is technically incapable of sending your files or any other information off your device. It works fully offline and requires no account, sign-in, or registration.
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) — Android 11 and aboveAll Document Reader is a document file manager. This permission is required for the app’s three core features:
What we do with this access: we read the names, sizes, dates and locations of document files in order to list them, and we read a document’s contents only at the moment you open it, in order to display it on screen. When you explicitly choose to rename, move, or delete a file, we perform that action on your device.
What we never do with this access: we never upload, copy off the device, transmit, back up, sell, or share your files or any information about them. We do not scan or read files for advertising, profiling, or analytics. We do not access files for any purpose other than showing them to you and performing the actions you request.
On older Android versions, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE serve the same purpose as All files access above: listing, opening, and managing your documents on the device.
You may decline the permission or revoke it at any time in Settings → Apps → All Document Reader → Permissions. The app will continue to work in a reduced form, showing only the documents the Android system has already indexed. Revoking the permission does not delete any of your files.
The app keeps a small amount of data locally on your device so it does not have to re-scan your storage every time you open it:
This data is stored in the app’s own private storage area on your device. It is never transmitted anywhere. It is deleted when you clear the app’s data or uninstall the app.
The app contains no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics providers, or trackers. We do not share data with third parties, because we do not collect any.
The app does not collect any data from anyone, including children. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to disclose, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. All data the app creates lives on your device and is under your control: clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app removes it completely.
Your documents never leave your device, which removes the risk of interception or server-side breach. Data the app stores locally is held in the app’s private storage area, which Android protects from other apps.
If we change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and publish the revised policy at this same address. If we ever add a feature that collects or transmits data, we will update this policy and our Google Play Data safety declaration before that feature is released.
